Energetic North America

Like in some other Rocket League regions, one team strongly dominated the competition in North America. NRG is formed with the players from G2 Stride, the previous NA Champions. They qualified for the RLCS 2025 Major 1 after two first Opens.

The second team in the region is The Ultimates. After finishing 5th-6th atOpen 1, the team achieved two confident second placements. They even eliminated NRG in Open 3.

World Champions across two EU teams

Europe is a realm of theRocket League World Champions 2024. They are not playing in one team, though. Team BDS quit the competition: two players and the coach are in Team Vitality, and one player is in Karmine Corp.

It was logical to expect these teams to battle for the top placement, and it was the case in the beginning. But the current Karmine Corp roster turned out to be too powerful for Team Vitality. KC won two first EU Opens to qualify for the Birmingham Major.

Wildcards of Oceania, Asia-Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa

These regions have pretty dedicated communities, but they still should prove themselves internationally. Luminosity Gaming won all three Opens in Asia-Pacific. FUT Esports achieved the same, but the organization changed the name in the process: it was Maestros Del Esférico in Opens 1 and 2.

In Oceania, the Australian team Wildcard won two qualifiers and was second in Open 2. Helfie Chiefs had a shakier performance, but they still were ahead of the closest competitor by 5 points on the regional leaderboard.
