Flubber? Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man? Slimer fromGhostbusters? This dude reminds me of many things (even Bemax fromBig Hero 6for some reason), but this stretchy green weirdo is none of those. No, his name is Helix, like double-helix (his name is ‘DNA Man’ in Japan).
The name comes from his arms which resemble DNA strands slightly more than his opponents’ due to the yellow sticks connecting the twisting cords. You could say it’s not DNA since nucleotides should form pairs, unless this guy is all just one nucleotide. That night explain his strange…physique. If that wasn’t enough to sell the idea of DNA, there’s a picture of a DNA strand on his chest.
Anyway, his elasticity looks to be useful for dodging. If you’ve been waiting for a troll character, this might be it. You have my permission to refer to a Helix mirror match as a “double helix.”
