Jurassic World Rebirth Promises To Be A “Survival” Story Like The Original Movie

Based on what has been revealed about the film so far,Jurassic World Rebirthseems to be a clear departure from the previousJurassic Worldmovies, and this is definitely for the best.

The originalJurassic Parkis so beloved and has had such an important legacy, but theJurassic Worldreboots have become increasingly poorly received. By returning to a survival movie with more horror aspects and real danger for the characters,Jurassic World Rebirthhas the potential to tap into what fans love about the original movie while still being able to tell its own story. The newJurassic World Rebirthtrailer teases more dangerous dinosaurs than everand some very impressive action sequences that are sure to keep audiences at the edge of their seats.

Going Back To The Franchise’s Roots Is Already Paying Off For Jurassic World Rebirth

The New Trailer Is Already Getting More Positive Feedback Than Its Predecessor Received

The new trailer forJurassic World Rebirthalready looks very promising, showing that the return to the series' roots was a good choice. WhileJurassic World Dominionwas a box office success, it received negative reviews, with critics noting that the story of humans and dinosaurs living side by side was not fully fleshed out. In contrast, the upcoming sequel nearly ignores whatDominionset upby bringing its characters back to anisland research facility from the original Jurassic Park, allowing the movie to pull in foundational elements from the original movie and book.

Jurassic Park Rebirthwill use the key elements of having one primary setting the characters are trying to escape, scary dinosaurs (which even seem to be getting a mutant update), and even some action sequences from the book that the original movie left out. In particular, the new featurette shows clips of the river raft sequence which followed Dr. Grant and the Murphy children rafting over a waterfall. The clips that have been released so far highlight just how muchJurassic World Rebirthis attempting to connect to the original, and it certainly seems to be paying off.
