All will be revealed about the upcomingCyberpunk 2077version 2.3 update in a livestream set to air tomorrow.Cyberpunkversion 2.3 has been hotly anticipated for quite some time. Initially intended for release on June 26,it was delayedat the last minute to an indefinite date in the future. Since then, it’s largely been radio silence from developer CD Projekt Red as it juggles the update,Cyberpunk 2, andThe Witcher 4. But that may be set to change sooner than you think.
According to the officialCyberpunk 2077X (formerly Twitter),a Patch 2.3-focused livestream will air tomorrow, July 16, at 5:00 PM CEST - 11:00 AM EST, or 8:00 AM PST. The latest in a series of CDPR livestreams dubbed REDstreams, the reveal will feature appearances by Pawel Sasko,Cyberpunk2’s Associate Game Director, and Adrien Jouannet, Lead Designer at Virtuos. It’ll be available on CDPR’s officialTwitchandYouTubechannels.

What We Know About Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.3 Patch
A Potentially Massive Update
Frankly,we don’t know much about what’s included inCyberpunk’s 2.3 update. However, CDPR promised big things when it initially announced the delay, comparing version 2.3 in scope to version 2.2. The previous major update included new customization options for characters, cars with changeable paint colors, an enhanced photo mode, and a variety of new interactions with Johnny Silverhand.
So players can likely expect something of a similar nature fromCyberpunk’s next update, but ultimately, we have no way of knowing. That’s what the livestream is for, after all.CDPR has kept incredibly quiet about what’s included in version 2.3, but they’re clearly planning some big reveals for tomorrow - and they may have already left us a couple of hints.

We Already Have Predictions
2.3 Almost Certainly Involves Cars
While CDPR has yet to reveal much of anything about 2.3, we can pretty much guarantee it has something to do with cars. It’s been rumored for a while, but just look at the wording of that Twitter post: “We’redrivinginto patch 2.3 tocheck what’s under the hoodof the newest update.” Hopefully, this means there’ll be increased car customization inCyberpunk2.3, perhaps letting players get under the hoods themselves and customize individual components of their cars.
Since we’re also expecting aMac release forCyberpunkthis week, the livestream may also get into what’s involved in this most recent port. And, if we’re lucky, it’ll reveal the release date forCyberpunk 2077’s version 2.3 - which I’m secretly hoping will be shadow dropped.
