The Mission Possible May 7 patch for CS2 is now live.
A small patch for CS2 arrived on May 7 titled Mission Possible which introduces five new community-designed maps, a new weekly missions system, and more!

New CS2 Weekly Missions reward XP, help contribute to weekly drops and Armory Pass
Today’s update sees the introduction of new “Weekly Missions.” These CS2 weekly missions grant XP, which contributes towards leveling up accounts and earning weekly drops.
The XP can also be used for completingunlocked Armory Passes. The missions will see players step out of their comfort zone, however; some require rounds or competitive wins on a particular map, with a focus on exploring the new community maps.
Only one mission will be given a week, so once it’s done, you’ll need to wait until the next “reset” to pick up another!
CS2 community maps refreshed; five new maps including Agency remake
That’s not all in today’s update, with five “new” community maps arriving in CS2. Agency, a long-time fan favorite of the franchise, is finally in CS2 with the indoor office building-style map given a fresh coat of paint.
The other four maps are new and have been designed from the ground up by the community. Grail, set in a castle and fantasy-themed fun park, and Jura, a map designed around a Jurassic castle in Poland, will join Agency in the Competitive map pool and are designed for five-on-five play.
Brewery, an indoor map inside of a factory, and and Dogtown, which sees players traverse a dockside carnival (complete with interactive Ferris wheel lighting!), are smaller and meant for Wingman two-on-two play.
Their arrival sees the departure of other community maps Basalt, Edin, Palais, and Whistle — but don’t fret! If you’re a fan of these maps, they’ll likely make their way back into CS2 as the community map pool rotates.
Interestingly, we aren’t seeing the addition of Cache yet, despite its confirmed completion last week. Perhaps it’s being held for after the Austin Major — we can only guess!
