Ravenage Games has announced that Königsborgs’ card-based restaurant-slash-mafia simDon Dualitywill be released on August 25th.
Don Dualityhas you in the shoes of a newly empowered mob boss. You have to juggle both the demands of organized crime and your money-laundering restaurant front. It uses a card-driven system that takes you through the difficult crime-slash-dining events as you build up both empires. You’re tasked with equipping your crew and keeping your customers happy while restoring your family to their rightful place in the criminal underground.
I’ve said this before, butDon Dualityreminds me of thePizza Connectiongames. They both connect organized crime with restaurant management, which is a pretty tantalizing mix. InPizza Connection, you would send goons to sabotage and steal from your other competitors, which I don’t think is whatthis game is going for. We can hope, though.
