Vienna-based studio Broken Rules has just announced that its colorful aerial action title,Chasing Aurora, is going to being launching on the Wii U’s eShop platform. Seen first at LunarCade Shanghai, the game boasts an interesting mix of vector and pixel-based graphics.

The game also features an original soundtrack by Christof Dienz, as well as, “a story-based single player campaign told without words.” This form of story telling has been done in gamesbefore, but it will be interesting to see Broken Rules take on it.Chasing Aurorawill also feature some gameplay modes specifically designed for theWii U Pro. No word yet on a release date or if Broken Rules will be releasing Chasing Aurora on other platforms.
