The Turkish team will play against Team Spirit for the BetBoom Dacha trophy.

All-Turkish CS2 team Eternal Fire are in the grand finals of BetBoom Dacha after a surprising 2-0 victory against MOUZ in the lower bracket consolidation final on Aug. 31.

When everybody was expecting MOUZ to qualify for the grand finals and play a rematch against Team Spirit, Eternal Fire put on a masterclass on both Dust 2 (13-10) and Nuke (19-17) to send MOUZ packing. They had played each other earlier in the tournament, and MOUZ defeated them comfortably.

Eternal Fire will have to keep this level of performance to have any chance of beating Spirit in the BetBoom Dacha grand finals as the Russians have been one of the best teams in the world in 2024 and nearly flawless in Belgrade, Serbia this time around. Eternal Fire’s captain Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli said in the post-match interview with hosts Pala “Pala” Gilroy Sen and Anastasija “Heccu” Tolmačeva that they have the night to prepare against Spirit.

Spirit versus Eternal Fire: BetBoom Dacha grand finals preview

Spirit arrive in the grand finals as the clear favorite, despite Eternal Fire’s victory against MOUZ in the consolidation final. The Russian team have won important tournaments this year such as IEM Katowice and BLAST Premier Spring Final, and their star Danil “donk” Kryshkovets is having an incredible tournament at BetBoom Dacha.

It’s going to be a best-of-five (Bo5) grand finals, which means there’s less room for an upset. Nonetheless, Eternal Fire can’t be doubted after sweeping MOUZ today in the BetBoom Dacha lower bracket consolidation final. Here is what both Eternal Fire and Spirit accomplished in the $500,000 tournament thus far. The Turkish team played more matches as they attended the play-in stage and fell to the lower bracket in the playoffs.
