Emily in Parisis coming back for season 3!
With the major cliffhanger in season 2 — in whichLily Collins' Emily Coopercontemplates returning to her job in Chicago or following her mentor at Savoir, Sylvie, to her new company — it goes without saying that fans are more than eager to see how things unfold for the marketing executive.
“I myself don’t know her choice yet. I keep asking,“Collins previously told PEOPLEof what’s next for Emily. “But whatever choice it is you know it will be filled with drama, fashion and a lot of fun and romance.”
Thankfully, the cast is already back in the City of Love prepping for the upcoming season. In June, the show’s Instagram account posteda photo of a script for the upcoming season, writing, “back at a table together, and it’s not for a client meeting or a dinner party. production on season 3 is starting now! 💕”
Most recently, Netflix shared a handful ofofficial images from the new season, which shows Emily sporting a brand-new haircut.

Season 3 finds Emily still in the City of Lights, according to a release from the streamer, but now she is “at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life.”
“Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie — at work and in her romantic life,” the synopsis teases, clearly referring to a love triangle between Emily, Gabriel and Alfie.
The release hints that the decisions Emily makes this coming season will determine “her future in France” as she continues to “immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.”

Netflix confirmedproduction for season 3 was underwayon June 1 when they shared a photo from the cast’s table read alongside a script.

Collins and Gabriel were later shown filming scenes together in August, with the actress sporting a fashionable black hat and houndstooth pants outside a restaurant.
