Deadlock has added a new hero, so here’s everything you need to know about Mirage and his set of abilities.
Patch notes for Deadlockdropped on June 24, 2025. The first thing listed was the addition of a new hero. The newest character to Deadlock, named Mirage, brings even more mysticism to the game. He’s got tornadoes, scarabs, and pretty hefty rifle in his hands.

Who is Mirage, the newest Deadlock hero?
The dapper looking gentleman named Mirage is the 22nd hero of Deadlock. He’s got a fine coat, a large gun, a slick hairdo, and facial hair that makes him look a bit like Doctor Strange. He’s got some abilities the good Doctor might be capable of, too.
And with one of his abilities, which we’ll get to soon, being called Djinn’s Mark, it looks as though he might have a Djinn captured in that contraption on his chest. Perhaps that’s how he gets his powers? Here’s what the in-game description says:
“Mirage can envelop himself in a violent tornado to catch up to enemies and lift them up. His scarabs help him sustain against multiple enemies, and he’s always ready to help an ally or punish an enemy anywhere.”
