Liquipedia’s 2024 insights reveal the most visited LoL players, with 16 of the top 20 hailing from South Korea.
Liquipedia, the esports and gaming wiki founded by Team Liquid, has released its 2024 League of Legends (LoL) insights, revealing the most visited player pages of the year.

T1, LCK, and South Korea dominate the rankings
The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), the most competitive region in LoL Esports, contributes 12 players to the top 20 ranking. In fact, 16 out of the top 20 players are South Korean, including those who compete in other regions like Impact, Ruler, Canna, and Scout. This once again highlights the global demand for South Korean talent in the LoL scene.
Another point to highlight is the presence of all five T1 players — Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria — a reflection of the team’s incredible success. T1’s back-to-back Worlds victories in 2023 and 2024 cemented their status as a powerhouse, making their players some of the most followed in the game.
At the top of the list is Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, an undisputed legend. After winning Worlds 2024, earning Finals MVP, and securing his fifth Worlds title, he was also inducted into the LoL Esports Hall of Legends. On top of that, Faker has racked up multiple Esports Player of the Year awards this year, further cementing his status as the greatest of all time. Check outall of Faker’s individual achievements.
Moving on to China’s League of Legends Pro League (LPL), Bilibili Gaming’s knight and Bin have also become the global spotlight after amazing performances in the MSI 2024 and Worlds 2024. The duo was instrumental in the team’s near completion of the “Golden Road,” a title reserved for teams that win every major tournament in a single year.
Despite falling short in winning both international tournaments, Bilibili Gaming is still considered one of the most decorated teams of 2024, winning both LPL Spring and Summer while finishing as runners-up at MSI and Worlds.

Rekkles remains a fan favorite despite western absence
Martin “Rekkles” Larsson is one of only two Western players featured, with the other being G2’s Caps. Additionally, the former G2 Esports and Fnatic player ranked in second place, just behind Faker.
Despite not competing in a Tier 1 league in 2024, Rekkles gained popularity in South Korea as a support for T1 Academy, where he played alongside Smash. The AD carry is now currently taking up Gumayusi’s spot as T1’s starting bot laner in the 2025 LCK Cup.
Rekkles’ popularity rose even further when he was announced as T1’s official substitute for Worlds 2024. Although he didn’t play a single match, his presence in the waiting room, providing feedback and support to the team, endeared him to fans. His moment of lifting the trophy alongside T1 added to the excitement, further increasing his global following.
Another notable inclusion is Kim “Canna” Chang-dong, a former LCK top laner who previously played for T1, Nongshim RedForce, and Dplus before making a move to the LEC with Karmine Corp. Given Karmine Corp’s passionate and massive fanbase, Canna quickly became one of the most talked-about players in the Western scene.
