Our Take On Greenland: Migration’s January 2026 Release

Greenland: Migrationwill joinDanny Boyle’s28 Years Later: The Bone Temple,Return to Silent Hill, and an untitled Disney movie as part of the January 2026 slate. This putstwo post-apocalypse films in one month, which is potentially something very exciting to look forward to for genre fans.

Waugh previously teasedaDune-like approach to Greeland 2, which explores the aftermath of Part 1 and how living in a bunker underground for a long time affects the human brain. Meanwhile,The Bone Temple, scheduled to arrive only three days ahead of Butler’s movie, tunes into the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse 28 years after the outbreakand sees how an innocent boy became a cult leader.

Both movies promise unconventional approaches to the genre. While it’s unclear whether the new schedule had anything to do withThe Bone Temple’s release date,Greenland:Migration’s postponement makes January 2026 a big month for post-apocalypse fans.
