I know what you’re thinking, but no, this game isnotrelated toVVVVVVin any way aside from the monochromatic color scheme. Here Comes Launchmanby The Layabouts is a little more complex than that, requiring you to leverage multiple telekinetic abilities to clear stages in once piece.

Though you can run left and right, your main method of transportation is your mouse, which you use to charge a power meter and fling Launchman in the direction you’re aiming. You can ricochet off walls, cancel your momentum mid-flight, or pull various other maneuvers to reach the goal. In addition, you can pick up objects with your mind to trigger switches and such when flinging just won’t cut it.

The game will be released later this year, but for now, you can hit up its homepage and grab the alpha demo for Windows or Linux (a Mac demo will come later). From what I’ve played so far,Here Comes Launchmanseems pretty pimp.
