So , the preview for DreamWorks Animation ’s Home came out the other day . It ’s … interesting , to say the least . The movie is pretty to reckon at with the potential for a strong burden story . But at the same meter , it also boast refutable voice work by Rihanna and Jim Parson ’s single - shtick nerd - show . Both have their lines where the characters total awake and feel alone , but they also have their bonny share of cheap muzzle and awkward performing .

On top of that , with what we already eff from Almost Home and the movie ’s source material , The unfeigned Meaning of Smekday , the story seems muddled . Will it fall out its base and be about Tip and Oh ’s journey around the country , or is it about the Boov hunt down Oh for being pestiferous ? The chase scenes in the trailer are n’t very encouraging for the former , but I ’m hoping that ’s just the ware of pathetic poke - making . The book ’s story is interesting and engaging , but this motion picture does n’t seem there yet . We ’ll have to waitress to see .
