To find the Matilda handgun in theResident Evil 4remake, you’ll need to progress through the story until you hit Chapter 8. Just after you first split up from Ashley, you’ll find a purple lantern next to a wooden door. You’ll be greeted by your trusty typewriter and the Merchant on the right.
Speak to the hooded figure and select “Trade.” He’ll have new wares to give you in exchange for your well-earned Spinels. As a refresher, you’ll receive this currency by finishing side missions likeexterminating all the ratsand shootingevery blue medallionin one area.
