Always have your knife on you in Battlefield 6.
Every loadout you may build in Battlefield 6 has access to a variety of different weapons and pieces of equipment. From standard guns to rocket launchers to smoke grenades and even a defibrillator, there’s no shortage of items to switch to when a certain situation presents itself. However, one weapon that remains the same regardless of what loadout you use in Battlefield 6 is the knife.
The knife is currently the only melee weapon that we have access to in the multiplayer beta. Every class and loadout is able to use the knife, which has a few decent use-cases in Battlefield 6. Unfortunately, the knife doesn’t have a visible button to equip it like all of the other weapons on your loadout. How to equip the knife in Battlefield 6
Luckily, the knife can be equipped extremely easily in Battlefield 6, and the process remains the same regardless of what class or loadout you use.
To pull out your knife on either a controller or on keyboard and mouse, follow the steps below:

Now that you know how to equip your knife, is there a reason you should consistently pull it out aside from killing an enemy at close range?
Fortunately, there is. When you have the knife out, your character will run much faster than they normally would when you have a regular weapon equipped. This is especially good to know at the start of a match, as you can pull out your knife to get to your destination much faster than other players who aren’t in a vehicle or using their knife.
