Lynx is a brand new character coming to Honkai Star Rail. A member of the Landau family she will be a 4-star Quantum healer.
MiHoYo have caught the Honkai Star Rail community by surprise with the announcement of Lynx Landau, a brand new Quantum character on The Abundance path. While Lynx was not announced as a playable character in the upcoming version 1.2, we expect her to make an appearance in the new storyline.
Currently MiHoYo only shared an image of Lynx and a brief backstory. During MiHoYo’sversion 1.2special program on July 8, Lynx did not make an appearance, but the developerconfirmed three new characters. MiHoYo alsoteaseda 5-star version of Dan Heng.

Backstory
Lynx is the youngest daughter of the Landau family, “one of Belebog’s best extreme environments explorers”.
"Lynx is highly capable of action despite her apparent lack of motivation. She’s only appears introverted and lazy to avoid unnecessary socialization. As for what counts as unnecessary socialization — “Um, aren’t all socialization unnecessary?”

While Lynx’s kit has not been officially confirmed, there have been leaks of her abilities by Twitter userMerlin Impact. Bear in mind these are not confirmed.

Who voices Lynx in Honkai Star Rail?
Lynx will be voiced by Risa Mei, who was the English voice actor for Genshin Impact’s Sangonomiya Kokomi. Kokomi was a gentle soul and based on the description of Lynx, it seems she will have a similar personality. Risa Mei has also lent her voice to Arena of Valor and Tower of Fantasy.

Given the rarity of Quantum characters and the fact Lynx will be only one of a handful of healers in Honkai Star Rail, she will definitely tempt people to make some changes to their typical comps.
