It totally slipped my mind thatMighty Switch Force!was beingdolled upfor the Wii U eShop. Thankfully, WayForward gave us a friendly reminder in the form of a new trailer.
The full title readsMighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition. True to the subtitle, all 21 regular and downloadable levels from the 3DS original return as “Hyper” versions of their earlier incarnations, promising greater challenge. The pixel sprites are sadly gone, only to be replaced by incredible hand-drawn graphics that better reflect the game’s concept art. The new visuals render at a crisp 1080p, but you can choose to move the action to the GamePad for off-TV play.
It doesn’t sound likeMighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Editionwill arrive at launch — theNintendo eShop pagelists the release date as “TBD.” Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too much longer.I’m ready to double-dip!
