Esports and entertainment company OverActive Media, which operates as Movistar KOI in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) circuit, has revealed the record-breaking results from the first-ever LEC Roadtrip event.

Movistar KOI and LEC Roadtrip 2025

LEC Roadtrip was hosted by Movistar KOI and happened between April 26 and April 27. According to OverActive Media, it drew in about 18,000 attendees, which turned it into a major milestone for regional live esports events.

The event brought top League of Legends teams and talent such as Ibai to the Madrid Arena. Fans attended to watch Movistar KOI,G2 Esports, GIANTX, andFnaticcompete throughout the weekend. Matchups included G2 vs GIANTX and KOI vs Fnatic on Saturday plus G2 vs Fnatic and KOI vs GIANTX on Sunday.

According to the announcement, LEC Roadtrip also attracted 348,000 peak concurrent viewers. Three matchups ranked amongthe Spring Split’stop five most-watched ones.

Movistar KOI launches Fénix Club Gaming

Alongside LEC Roadtrip, Movistar KOI also launched Fénix Club Gaming, which isa subscription platformoffering fans merchandise discounts, early ticket access, giveaways, and community channels. This launch marked OverActive Media’s first subscription-based and direct-to-consumer platform.

According to the official announcement, membership costs €30 a year for a digital card or €40 for a limited-edition founders card. The latter option sold out in under 24 hours, and the company is now considering expanding the offer.

“The launch of Fénix Club is an important milestone for us,” Adamou said. “It gives our fans a way to connect directly with the organization and support it in a meaningful way. It also establishes a new, recurring revenue stream that strengthens our business model and helps power our long-term growth.”
