Call of Duty: MW3 Season 6 is subtitled The Haunting, and it has a lot of horror-themed items, maps, skins, and more.

The next season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been revealed. We now know the release date and plenty of other details about MW3 Season 6: The Haunting. It goes right into Halloween and has some iconic horror collaborations.

The name is only fitting. So, let’s dive into everything you may expect when the season launches and as it progresses throughout the final moments of MW3’s lifespan. AsBlack Ops 6 is just around the corner.

When does MW3 Season 6: The Haunting release?

This question is an easy one. Call of Duty has announced the launch of MW3 Season 6 as the middle of September.

You’ll be able to dive on July 29, 2025. Just look for a patch on that day, and when any server maintenance is complete, you and everyone else will get to play.

New maps and modes for MW3 and Warzone

For both the Call of Duty battle royale and multiplayer of MW3, there are a ton of new maps and map variants to expect:

All of these arrive with the season’s launch. That includes Purgatory and Zombie Royale, the only new modes coming with MW3 Season 6.

They are both Warzone modes, and there are no new modes for MW3 multiplayer. The modes coming are simply returning ones, which are Hordepoint, Arcade, Mutation, and Infected.

Horror crossovers are the theme with this season. You’ll see the followingbundles in the shop, as well as Operators and skins available in the season’s Battle Pass:
