It was only a matter of time before the next Goddess of Victory: NIKKE anime collaboration, and what better than Evangelion. Despite not including specific release dates, the teaser gathers around 200k views across all social media platforms.
The series of skins will launch with “The Ark Defense Battle” update. According to the brief storyline revealed, this event begins after a large-scale power outage in the ARK. In comparison with the anime, a similar situation occurs when the “Angels” invade Tokyo-3.
The connection between NIKKE and Evangelion makes perfect sense, as both take place in a dystopian future where giant mechas serve as the ultimate tools to save the world.
