Overwatch 2: A Great Day animated short
The video begins with Sombra translocating to a Talon airship and asking for Mauga’s whereabouts. Sombra and Reaper then give Doomfist their mission report on retrieving most of some power relay data. Unimpressed with how the mission turned out and the explosion from Null Sector’s carrier, Doomfist reprimands them.
Sombra recalls that they did run into a few problems. When Sombra and Reaper were infiltratingthe damaged Null Sector ship, Mauga missed some shots at a seagull. The bullet hit a satellite dish and activated Null Sector’s forces within the ship. Team Talon then fought against the omnics.
Sombra and Reaper soon entered the area containing the power relay data. While Sombra hacked the system, Reaper watched her back. Meanwhile, Mauga wreaked havoc against the bots.

Null Sector’s ship was about to go down in an explosion, but Sombra didn’t give up retrieving the data. After obtaining it, she tried to teleport out of the area. However, her translocator was damaged. She ran out as quickly as possible.
Back in the present, Doomfist tells Sombra and Reaper that a partial victory isn’t a victory at all. Therefore, they must deal with Mauga. As Sombra confronts Mauga about the situation, the latter surprises her.
It turns out that Mauga shot the satellite dish on purpose to prevent Null Sector’s distress signal from going out. Mauga later grabbedthe ship’s corebefore taking down the entire carrier.
“No ship, no wreckage, not witnesses, no problem,” Mauga tells Sombra. “He may not be happy now, but you give Doomfist that, and he’ll be all smiles. Looks like you owe me one.”
He then parachutes away and claims that it’s a great day indeed.
