The Peculiar Poem is one of the hardest puzzles to crack inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and it has tested the wits of many players.
Compared to typical puzzles, Peculiar Poem will seem odd. You’ll just have a set of directions without any context, and the game doesn’t even tell you what to do next. Thankfully, this guide will help you solve the puzzle and find the Holy Grail (I will explain the correlation in the second section).
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Peculiar Poem puzzle solution
You get the puzzle from Bolek in the second Kuttenberg region. Naturally, it will take you a fair bit of time to reach this point. Bolek will claim that this poem contains the directions of a treasure called the Holy Grail. Of course, Bolek doesn’t give you any clue about where the item actually is.
To find out about the location, you’ll have to decode what’s written in the poem.
“From two magical peaks, that gaze into the heavens, like a thirsty pilgrim I set out on the path. Across a valley overgrown to the very edge of the earth, there I shall drink from a spring that will not let me perish.”
Let’s now take a look at where the Holy Grail actually is in located.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Holy Grail location
The Holy Grail can be found near the Sedletz Monastery. In the poem, the “two magical peaks” refer to the two spires of the Ossuary in the graveyard. From there, head south and go across the fields. You’ll need to reach the river at the edge of the map, which is hinted at by the “valley overgrown to the very edge of the earth.”
The water is pretty shallow, and you’ll find a broken box in it. You’ll also find a Golden Chalice next to it (if you can’t find the treasure, just over your mouse pointer, and the treasure will be highlighted). You’ll also find a skeleton beside the treasure with a fork popping out of the water (use this as a landmark).
