Canadian Street Fighter 6 players still have a shot at flying to Paris, France for the 10-year anniversary of Red Bull Kumite. Read on for everything to know about the upcoming Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier!
On March 29, the Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier event will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia. This tournament, which will be part of the Battle of BC 7 event, will feature a four-person, double-elimination bracket.
Only one player will end up winning a trip to Paris. There, they will duke it out in the Red Bull Kumite Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) tournament. The ultimate goal? A spot in the 16-player invitational at the 2025 Red Bull Kumite World Final! WillSaul “MenaRD” Mena, the champion of Red Bull Kumite New York 2024 be able to defend his crown this year in Paris?

Last year,Zhenwon the Red Bull Kumite Canada National Final, also known as the Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier 2024 event. In an interview with esports.gg, he talked about his experience, saying it was incredible to be in Toronto’s Red Bull Gaming Studio in person after previously just watching events from home.

Battle of BC 7
As mentioned, the Battle of BC 7 event will host the Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier tournament. The Battle of BC 7 event overall will happen between March 28 and March 30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. In addition to Street Fighter 6 players aiming for a spot in the 2025 Red Bull Kumite LCQ, this event will feature other games such as TEKKEN 8, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros.
