Execute, a professional League of Legends player for Rogue, has received a one-match suspension, prompting assistant coach Trick to sub in.

Rogue support Lee “Execute” Jeong-hoon, previously known as JeongHoon, has received a competitive ruling from Riot Games. This prevents him from playing in Rogue’s final game of the LEC Spring 2025 season. See why Execute got suspended here.

Why did Execute get a suspension from Riot Games?

The ruling was for “unsportsmanlike behavior,” as Rogue revealed. This is due to an in-game chat that Execute sent in a matchmade lobby.

Dawid “Melonik” Ślęczka, top-laner for Polish squad Forsaken, was the one who brought the issue to the public.He postedthe screenshot below with the caption “sure, no problem (thumbs up emoji)” and Execute’s photo in a Rogue jersey.

The Neeko shown here is Execute, according to various solo queue tracking sites likeDPM.lol. In it, he chats to his team “take yourlife” followed by “pls” then him deafening in-game.

Melonik’s tweet was made on July 17, 2025, and Melonik clarified ina replythat he was not playing in this game.

Looking back at Execute’s pastLoLgames on this account, we found the game in question, which was played the same day the tweet was made.

For his behavior, Riot Games slapped a one-match suspension on Execute.

The professional support playertook to Xto apologize and accept his suspension.

He chalked up the usage of the phrase to a language barrier, saying that there is a similar phrase in Korean that means to “mind their own business” and that he did not intend to send a harmful message. Despite this, he apologized afterwards and vowed to reflect and grow.

Rogue has one remaining best-of-three in theLEC Spring 2025season. While they aren’t mathematically out of playoff contention, Rogue has already been practically eliminated in 10th place.

Their last remaining series is againstMovistar KOI, the current top third team in the region. Rogue confirmed on theirsocial mediathat their assistant coach, Kim “Trick” Gang-yun, will be subbing in for this match.

Trick was a jungler for most of his competitive career, playing for various teams across South Korea and Europe. Some of the notable rosters he was a part of were CJ Entus back in 2014 and G2 Esports from 2016 to 2017.

Rogue did not confirm what position Trick will be playing. There is a world where we see Trick go back into jungling while Kim “Malrang” Geun-seong moves to support, but we won’t know until the match day itself.
