The publisher currently hasn’t announced whether a wider release is in the cards, but it did just bring the similar (and excellent)Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influenceto the west this month.

Romance of the Three Kingdomsis a series of strategy games based on Luo Guanzhong’s chronicle of the fall China’s Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period, which also inspired Omega Force’s popularDynasty Warriorsfranchise. It’s currently celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Koei Tecmo plans to releaseRomance of the Three Kingdoms XIIIon December 10 in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. The Asian version will launch the same day on PS4.
