Here is an official look at Shohei Ohtani’s Fortnite cosmetics!
Epic Games has confirmed reports that Japanese baseball star and World Series Champion Shohei Ohtani is coming to Fortnite as the latest Icon Series member. The three-time MVP will join the game’s Icon Series, meaning a playable Shohei Ohtani Fortnite Skin and more will be available soon.
Here is everything you need to know about the Shohei Ohtani x Fortnite collaboration, including a first look at the player’s in-game cosmetics and how you can get them for free.

Shohei Ohtani Fortnite Skin: First look and release date
Due to arrive on Monday, March 17 at 7 p.m. ET, Ohtani will have a pair ofFortnite Icon Skinsavailable for purchase in the Item Shop. One represents what you would see during a typical Los Angeles Dodgers game, including the team’s iconic, royal blue and white jersey with his number 17.
The baseball player’s second Fortnite Skin offers a Japanese-inspired look, including a black and gold color scheme. The number 17 is also represented here. In addition to the baseShohei OhtaniFortnite Skins, the collaboration also features two Back Blings, two Pickaxes, and two Emotes.

Anyone looking to acquire the Samurai Shohei Skin can compete in the Shohei Ohtani Cup on March 16, two days before the Item Shop release. This Solo Battle Royale tournament has the Samurai version up for grabs for those who finish atop their respective region.
Competitors will earn points based on placement and eliminations, but only the top-performers in each region will collect the prize.
