Make your choice between the Blanche or Cliff path in Pokémon GO.
The Pokémon GO Steeled Resolve event is here, and every single Trainer gets access to a Free Timed Research during the event. After you complete the first page, you are presented with two different paths, one with Blanche and one with Team GO Rocket Leader Cliff. So, which Steeled Resolve Research path should you choose?
We’ve seen other branching research quests in Pokémon GO recently. During the Holiday Part 1 event Trainers could choose between Cliff and Sierra. To help you choose, we’ve broken down every Research Quest in each of the two paths, so you can make an informed choice about which to pick.
Should I choose the Blanche or Cliff path in the Steeled Resolve research?
There are only a couple of differences between the Blanche andLeader Cliffpaths in the Steeled Resolve free Timed Research. Here are the major differences between the two paths.

In summary, the differences are purely between the Pokémon encounters. These Pokémon are all designed to be good PvP Pokémon for you to use when taking part in the adjacent GO Battle Week event.
So, to decide if you should choose the Cliff or Blanche path in Pokémon GO consider this key question. Which of these Pokémon work for my Pokémon GO PvP team, and do I already have one of these Pokémon for PvP? For example, if you have an IV optimised Azumarill powered up for the Great League, the you would be better off choosing the Cliff path.
You might not care about PvP at all. In that case, we would suggest choosing the Blanche path. Steelix has a Mega Evolution, so is the best Pokémon to use for Raids from the options.
