The legendary player won their semifinal versus Hourglass_of_rain. Then, SonicFox had two tough matches against Nicolas — they won both with 3:2.
SonicFox played the same character / Kameo pair throughout the MK1 Evo 2025 tournament: Cyrax / Madam Bo. The other grand finalist, Nicolas, switched between a lot of Mortal Kombat characters, which is also pretty impressive.
The Final Kombat 2025 event happens from Sept. 26 to Sept. 28. The future of Mortal Kombat is questionable, as the developers from the NetherRealm Studios are reportedly working on thenext Injustice game.
