Over the past year and a half folks have built various flying machines that break the physics ofZelda: Breath of the Wild, but this is something different. Zants, aBreath of the Wildspeedrunner, managed to showcase an awesome bug by way of a video upload that allows for insanely fast gliding: so fast that the actual game needs to stop, breathe, and load the next area.

To do it they jump on top of an enemy while facing away from them and bust out the shield: the physics system basically slingshots you into the air with a massive force that lets you glide incredibly fast. Some players are already calling for it to be integrated with other speedrunning tech.

Directly following Zant’s discovery user ddurq_botw also shared the below video on Reddit with a better angle that shows what’s going on. It’s wild! Given all of the enhancements from the two DLCs and all of these insane discoveries, a replay is a given at this point.

This game just gets more fun with every new discoveryfromr/Breath_of_the_Wild
