As part of their CES announcements today, Microsoft revealed details for the second annual Xbox Live Arcade House Party and the news is big. Not only does it set a range in which we can expect the release ofBeyond Good and Evil HD, but there’s a surprise twist revealing the impending release ofTorchlightfor XBLA. Mind blown.
The House Party kicks off on February 18th withHard Corp Uprising(prequel to the classic scrolling shooterContra: Hard Corp). The remaining games will release once a week for five weeks total and will also include PopCap’sBejeweled Blitz LiveandFull House Pokerfrom now-defunct Australian developer Krome Studios.
That is a very solid lineup of games, if you were to ask me. I know that I’m picking upBG&Ebecause I’d like to feel I’ve bought a copy of it “new” and there’s no way I can resist aContragame. And it’s all only a month away? Gah! I need to buy more points!
