Twitchis a platform for a variety of content and streamers. There are those who focus on gaming, others who chat with their viewers, and more who make entirely unique streams such as wholesomeNew Zealand based streamer Broxh, who famously turned off his donations in the 2020 Christmas period. While Twitch continues to see success as one of the major streaming platforms on the internet, it often restricts some content on its platform.

From bans over sexual content to accusations of a derogatory slur used byIrish streamer JustaMinx, there are multiple ways in which even the most popular streamers can find themselves in hot water with the company. Often, these bans are only temporary, though for a Twitch streamer who makes much of their earnings through streaming, even a short ban can be devastating. Streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat has recently found himself on the receiving end of yet another Twitch ban, with the streamer being banned for 30 days.

The ban resulted over comments Kai Cenat made in a recent stream, though many have come out in support of the streamer, saying Twitch’s measures have been too harsh. Fellow popular streamer Mizkif came to Kai’s defense over the event, following up Kai Cenat’s tweet with “actual garbage. Do you have a rep on twitch? Message me.” Mizkif has also been banned from Twitch before, and has even stated the means by which he would move fromstreaming on Twitch to YouTube.

So far, there has been no news on Kai Cenat’s ban being lifted, and he is still waiting for his 30-day suspension to run its course. Some in the comments of Kai Cenat’s tweet, and the wider Twitch community believe that it is often popular streamers who face harsher restrictions, with those at thetop of the platform like Amouranth, xQc, and others often facing multiple Twitch bans after they go against the platform’s guidelines.
