Riot Games has just released its latest patch for Valorant, patch 4.05. This patch sees adjustments to Brimstome and minor game updates.
VALORANT sees its latest patch to the game as Riot looks to make immediate tweaks to the Brimstone buffs that came recently. In this patch, Riot has also addressed some quality of life changes to its competitive mode as well as some bug fixes.

Dialing back on the Brimstone buffs
When VALORANT patch 4.04 rolled out, Brimstone mains in both ranked and competitive was finally going to get their chance to shine. With increased height to his smokes and an extra Stim Beacon, Brimstone was well and truly online.
Brimstone was considered overpowered and was a viable agent. In North America (VCT Main stage) alone, Brimstone has been picked 25 times according toTheSpike.gg. This trumps the number of times the agent was picked at VCT Champions 2021 (6).

In patch 4.05, Brimstone has received minor nerfs to his Stim Beacon, reducing the number from 2 to 1. While Riot was happy with the increased play, having 2 Stim Beacons meant players no longer had to play around the timing of the ability as Stim Beacon could be used multiple times in a round.
