Here is what October has in store in Pokémon GO.
October 2024 has some really exciting events in Pokémon GO. We have the continuation of the new season, Pokémon GO Max Out, with more debuts and content focused around the Galar Region. Additionally even more Max Battles, bringing all new Dynamax Pokémon to the game. We’re even getting the shiny debut of Zamazenta. This follows the shiny debut of Zacian in late September.
So, what should you be looking out for in Pokémon GO in October 2024?

October 2024 will see a wide array of Pokémon GO events. Here are the dates for your calendars this month:
Shiny Galarian Birds are finally here in Pokémon GO.

October 2024 brings several exciting Pokémon GO events. We’ve got the Pokémon GO Community Day for Sewaddle as well as a really exciting Galarian Expedition that will introduce the shiny forms of the Galarian Birds. Then, naturally with it being spooky season, we have a range of Halloween themed events. These are always very popular amongst Pokémon GO players. We’re waiting on more details about what this year has in store.
October 2024 Max Battles
October 2024 gives us moreMax Battles. These will run from all month long. The following Pokémon will be in Max Battles:

Pokémon GO October 2024 Raids
Five Star Raids
October 2024 in Pokémon GO brings shiny Zamazenta to the game at last. We then get two spooky season themed Raids with Dark and Ghost-types. Giratina is a very powerful Raid Attacker in the Ghost and Dragon-type categories so is well worth Raiding for.
Mega Raids
October 2024 Mega Raids in Pokémon GO continue the spooky theme. Mega Banette has not been in Raids for a very long time. Make sure to get enough Mega Energy to add this one to your collection if you’re lacking,
Shadow Raids
Pokémon GO Shadow Raids in October 2024 will see Shadow Entei back in Raids.
Other highlights
As always, there will be a range of Pokémon GO Spotlight Hours in October 2024. Notably, one of the Pokémon featured this month is Shroomish. This Pokémon yields 500 Stardust per catch. This will be boosted to 1000 (1500 with a Star Piece) thanks to the 2x Catch Stardust bonus. The October 22 Spotlight Hour will feature Gastly, Litwick and Duskull all at the same time. Then, we have a mystery Spotlight Hour on October 29.
