FragPunk finally has a release date! And we’ve got a countdown to the moment it launches for you to follow along.
A lot of us either hoped for it or saw it coming. AtThe Game Awards 2024, plenty of games were announced and information was delivered. That includes a release date for the rule-bending card-themed FPS known as Fragpunk.
And we’ve got a countdown so you know exactly when it launches. Then you’re able to jump in and shake things up with the right Shard Cards as soon as it goes live.
Countdown to the release date of FragPunk
The reveal ofFragPunk’s release datewas a highly anticipated one. After multiple closed and open testing periods, it officially arrives on July 16, 2025 at 4 p.m. PST. And that’s a global launch, so it releases at the same time all across the world.

Take a look at the graphic below if you want to know what the time is for your region. And for console players, we’re sorry to say this does not include you. The FragPunk team revealed thatthe console release date has been delayed indefinitely, so only PC players get to dive in at first.

What’s new at launch?
A brief trailer to introduce the FragPunk release date was shown at The Game Awards. It indicates everything that’s coming with launch. This includesnew Shard Cards, which will stay completely free to earn throughout the game’s lifespan.

There was no mention of any new Lancers coming to the game, so expect that information to arrive between now and the FragPunk release date. Any new weapons or maps should be revealed prior to launch as well.
